So, now that the bullshit is all out of the way, let's get back to this blog! Wow! I can't believe that I haven't updated this in a week! Better get started....
Last Tuesday, I shot & spent the day with Jim Hunter for http://www.clips4sale.com/studio/8155. I have shot with Jim many, many times, and I was really looking forward to our shoot! We shot 2 clips in his basement, the we grabbed a quick lunch, and then drove up to his friend's bar, Mad Dawg's, in Hartford. Shooting at the bar was fun, and his friend was really, really nice. It was cool to have a different place to shoot in, and I had never shot bondage videos in a bar before, lol.
All in all, we shot 6 clips that day, and afterwards, we rewarded ourselves with a delicious sushi dinner. Yum.....
The next day, I left Connecticut & headed to NYC, but first, I had to stop somewhere & get my nails did. I decided to stop by West Farms Mall. I had been there before, and it was a really nice mall. Plus, I could eat lunch there before I headed to NYC. So, I got my nails done (she didn't do a great job), ate lunch at CPK, and then I was on my way.
It only took me about 2 hours to get there, and my friend was home at his apt waiting for me. I would like to write more about my friend, and our relationship, but I'm not quite sure what to write at this point, and I am unclear regarding the details of our relationship. I mean, do we even have a relationship to write about? Being there with him is always hard for me because, I really enjoy being there, and being with him, but nothing ever seems to progress, and then I leave, and I feel sad & confused, and then after a day or two, my life goes back to normal and I'm not really thinking about it anymore. Ok, if you are reading this, and you know who you are, if you're into me, please make a move. I'm not going to be single forever. Hopefully....
Anyway..... Wednesday night I had a quick shoot with Feet of Brooklyn for www.pinkfootfetish.com. I always enjoy shooting with him, and the shoot just flew by! Thursday, I had off, and on Friday I shot with Evangeline von Winters all day. What a fun shoot! I was frozen, hypnotized, shot, chloroformed & raped, lol. We shot for 5 hours, and then went out for a deee-licious sushi dinner! I had a very tasty green tea martini. Yum!!!
That night, my friend wanted to go out in the city, so I was pretty excited since we never really do anything together when I'm in town. Apparently, the Belmont Play Boys were having a cd release party the next night, but were in town tonight, and wanted to hang out. We met up with the at the Motor City Bar, had a few beers (and shots) and then headed to the Whiskey Ward. I'm not going to get into too many details, but the night was a lot of fun, and I'm really glad I got to spend the time with my friend.
Saturday, I had a shoot with Bronxties. I LOVE shooting with him. His shoots are so much fun, and he's so easy to work with. This time we were doing a 2 girl shoot with a new model, Niki Lee Young. She was so sweet, and easy & fun to work with! I assure you that the clips are gonna be hot, so keep an eye out for them!
Afterwards, Mark & I went out for a delicious sushi dinner (starting to see a pattern here, folks?) and then I was on my way to Rhode Island. I'm always sad whenever I leave NYC, but...... gotta do it. I had a shoot with www.straitjacketed.com yesterday, and it was an earlier shoot. 11am! lol. That shoot was awesome & went by so quickly! I got to wear some really fun, and snug, straitjackets. Keep an eye out for my pics/video on the website.
Today, I have the day off, so I'm headed to Providence to do some shopping. I got some great suggestions from a friend regarding some vintage stores in the area, so I'm pretty excited to see what treasures I will find.
Follow along to see a day in the life of a traveling fetish model!

A Little PSA Regarding Professionalism & Douchebaggery
I just wanted to take a break from our regularly scheduled blog to talk about a recent experience that I had with an amateur photographer. As some of you may know by now, I had an 8 page pictorial in the May issue of The Petite Alternative (www.thepetitealternative.com) & since it was my first ever publication, I was pretty darned excited. As some of you also may know, the original spread, along with the special edition poster, was pulled, and then replaced with older photos that were taken of me by Scott Church. WTF? Some of you might wonder. Well, I'll tell you what the fuck right now.
Back in February, during my cross country trip, one of the cities that I passed through was Knoxville, TN. I put out a casting call, and I got a few responses. One response was from a very amateur & inexperienced photographer. Now, at this stage in the game, I usually don't shoot with those types of photogs. Yes, I understand that we all start somewhere, and no one is more sensitive to that than I am, but paid or not, if I don't feel that you can bring something to my port, then I don't feel the need to shoot with you. I've worked very hard to bring myself up to a certain level in this industry, and my goal is to maintain that. Anyway, I reviewed this man's port, and he did have some nice things in there, so I decided to do the shoot.
Shoot day arrives, Eric & I head to the studio, and everything seems on the up & up. The shoot lasted 4 hours, and went pretty smoothly. Admittedly, I didn't have high hopes for these photos, but he had me do some cool pin-up type photos, so I was pretty anxious to see the edited pics.
Fast forward to the Dallas portion of my trip. Eric & I were actually getting ready to leave Dallas, and decided to stop at a few antique malls & vintage stores on the way out. We were in the last store, when I got a text from the photographer. He had submitted the photos that we took to The Petite Alternative, and not only did they accept them, but they wanted to put me on the cover! I had never been published before, so you can imagine my excitement! He said that I had to go to the website, fill out a questionaire & that she would be in touch. Sounded simple enough, so as soon as we got to our next destination, I did as I was instructed. And.....then I waited. And waited......
I texted the photog after a few weeks to see what was up, and he said that the woman was in the hospital, and would be in touch as soon as she got home. Certainly understandable, and absolutely not a problem. So, then I waited some more. A few more weeks went by, and I emailed the photog to see what was up. He responds by saying that the magazine changed their mind about the cover, and were giving me a 8 page pictorial instead. Um..ok. I was a little disappointed about not being on the cover, but being published is being published, and I was just thankful that I was going to be in the magazine.
Fast forward to now. This trip in particular, and Delaware, to be exact. Delaware was where I was when the shit hit the fan, so to speak. I was sitting in my hotel room eating my dinner, when an unfamiliar number came up on my phone. I answered it, and the woman on the other end said, "Hello, Nyxon? It's Stacey Renee from The Petite Alternative". Wow! So, basically she called to apologize about not putting me on the cover, and to explain why. Apparently, the reason she decided that I wasn't going to be on the cover, was because every single photo that she had of me from this photog, was on a stark, white background. It was a graphic designers nightmare, and just looked shitty as a cover. I completely understood, and was glad that she decided to not have a shitty cover with my picture on it, lol. The photographer, however, did not. This is where the story starts to go south. This photog got so bent out of shape over not being on the cover that he refused to sign the release form to allow the pictures to be used at all. WTF? Finally, Stacey convinced him to do so, so that's how I was able to be in the magazine.
So, May 1st rolls around, and the issue is out, and we are all promoting it like crazy, and it's doing really well! As an added bonus, Stacey decides to reward the fans by issuing a special edition poster, featuring yours truly, in celebration of reaching 1000 'likes' on Facebook. So, that's released, and once again, we are all promoting like crazy. Well, this photographer goes ballistic & starts harassing Stacey & saying that she better take down the poster & quit selling it, or else he was going to sue her. WTF? He then reports her to FB & has her 2 accounts suspended, gets her locked out of her Model Mayhem account, and a few other networking sites that she's on. He then starts posting nasty, nasty stuff about her online & just being a complete dick, in general. So, Stacey pulls the poster, and then he comes back with he wants her to pull ALL of my pics from her magazine, and that he has a lawyer and that he's going to sue her, blah, blah, blah...
NEWSFLASH, ASSHOLE: YOU SIGNED A MOTHERFUCKING RELEASE FORM GIVING YOUR PERMISSION FOR THE PETITE ALTERNATIVE TO POST, PRINT & PROFIT OFF OF YOUR IMAGES OF ME. IF YOU ARE ACTUALLY DUMB ENOUGH TO THINK THAT YOU COULD TAKE THIS TO COURT, AND IF YOU ACTUALLY FOUND A LAWYER TO TAKE ON YOUR BULLSHIT LAWSUIT, THE JUDGE WOULD LAUGH YOU OUT OF THE COURT ROOM. A RELEASE, WHEN SIGNED, IS A LEGAL & BINDING DOCUMENT. IF YOU ARE TOO STUPID TO KNOW & REALIZE WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING, WELL, THEN.... I FEEL BAD FOR YOU.
I AM PISSED! Besides the fact that this fucking hillbilly is behaving like a childish piece of shit, he is being unfair to me & screwing with my career. Being in this magazine, and being published is extremely important to me & my career. I worked too hard to let some hillbilly come along & shit all over it.
Well, let me just say that thank god for good people like Scott Church. Thank god for professionals, who know, understand & respect the business, like Scott Church. Whenever Stacey said that she was pulling the photos, and asked if I could send her others, I knew exactly what to do. I called Scott Church, who said that this was completely unfair to me, and Stacey, and that he would do whatever he could to make it all better. And better he made it. Early this morning, he emailed Stacey a bunch of photos of me, and later on this afternoon, the May issue was relaunched....with me on the cover!!!! I got the cover PLUS an 8 page pictorial, PLUS there are TWO limited edition posters for sale!!
Ladies & gentlemen, this is how a professional photographer operates, and I'll tell ya what. I was picky & choosey regarding the glamour photogs I worked with in the past, but moving forward, I will be EXTREMELY choosey about with whom I work with. There's nothing wrong with being an amateur photographer, like I said, we all gotta start somewhere, but you at least have to ACT professional.
I am extremely thankful for the good people I have in my life, and Scott Church is certainly one of them. Thank you, Scott, for being the outstanding & amazing person that you are, and or helping me out. I am truly grateful.
Last but not least, I'm sure you wanna know where to get this magazine that I've been speaking of, and the 2 limited edition posters, so here ya go!

I Am Razor Girl, Hear Me Roar!
Sunday, I spent the day shooting with Gothic City Heroines, and I finally got to play a super heroine!! I'm usually an evil super villain, so it was a nice & unexpected change. The shoot was awesome! I always have so much fun with Pete & Phil, and Sunday was no exception. I got to play a heroine called Razor Girl, and I got to fight the evil Webmaster, lol. These guys are so creative that nothing I say here would do the clips any justice. Keep checking http://www.clips4sale.com/studio/12387 for the clips.

Monday, I had a shoot from 6pm-8pm in Boston, so that left my daytime free. I decided to pop on over to Salem since I was only 15 minutes away. The last time I visited Salem, was in October, so Salem in May was quite a different story, lol. It was a warm, sunny day, and Salem was just beautiful. Not to mention, a lot more calm than it was in October. I had no problem finding a place to park, and since the woman who read my cards last year was no longer in business, I decided to try my luck at Hex. They were fully booked, but suggested their sister store, right down the street. I walked down the street, and a lovely woman named Deborah read my cards. I won't bore you with the details, but the reading was VERY overwhelming, and she sensed a lot of change & movement for me in the coming year, among other things. After the reading, I was feeling pretty emotional (or was it the codeine I was on, lol) so i walked down by the water & just hung out & watched the boats for a while. I find the water to be very relaxing, and I really enjoy watching the boats hanging out on the water. As soon as I felt more relaxed, I decided to grab some lunch. I found a cute little spot, Gulu Gulu, and I wish that I wasn't on both codeine & antibiotics (damn finger) because they had so many yummy beers! Ahh well..... I did have some very yummy mac n cheese, though. I finished my lunch, and since I still had some time before my shoot, I decided to go to Cambridge. There was a vintage store there, Oona's, that I had quite a bit of luck in, the last time I was there. This time....not so much. Nothing really jumped put at me, except for an amazing blue lamp, but I decided not to buy it. I found another store called Vintage Revenge, and let me tell you, I have no idea how this woman managed to fit all of her shit in her store, but she did! I found quite a bit of Spring-o-lators in my size, but I decided to pass. I did, however, find a neat pair of confetti earrings.
My shoot that evening was a glam shoot, and I shot with him, Meadow Soft, in October when I came through. I thought our first shoot went pretty well, but I think that we were both even more pleased with the results of our second shoot. Afterwards, I headed to Connecticut. I had a shoot with Jim Hunter the next day, and since it was a full day of bondage, I needed my rest!

Snitches Bitches Stitches
Yep......that's pretty much how my Saturday started out. I just wanna say that, being that I had 2 shoots on Saturday, stopping & getting stitches in my finger wasn't on my list of things to do. *sigh*
I was in my hotel room that morning, and I was trying to make the disgusting hotel coffee when it happened. The packet didn't have the little slit on it to make opening it easier, so, being the brainiac that I am, decided to open it with a knife. Bad move, lol. I guess I was too agressive, or I used too much force, because that dull hotel room steak knife almost sliced my finger off. I mean, it HURT and I bled like a stuck pig. No joke. I didn't know what to do. Not only did I have 2 shoots on Saturday, but I have no health insurance. I wrapped it in a kleenex, and got some gauze & tape from the front desk, and made the best of it. It worked pretty good while I got ready, but just as I was about to leave, it sprung a leak, and blood was everywhere. Soooo.... I re-wrapped it, and called my first photographer to explain the situation. He understood, and asked if I still wanted to do the shoot. Heck yes I did! I arrived at the shoot an hour late, and since he had something booked after me, and I had to take care of my finger, we only shot for an hour :( I lost $100, but..... I really did need to get this taken care of before my evening shoot. BALLS!
The shoot was cool, and something entirely different that I've ever done. I was naked on an all black background doing these repetitive dance moves while he snapped the pictures. What a workout! I was actually tired after just 1 hour, so I can't imagine doing multiple hours, lol. The photos are going to be really neat & abstract, and I can't wait to see them!
Photo shoot finished, and I was off to find an Urgent Care. There was NO WAY that I was going to walk into an ER with no insurance, especially with the time limit that I had. I found an Urgent Care close by by using my GPS, and off I went. Let me tell you, it was not what I expected at all. There were absolutely no signs whatsoever on the street, and I had to ask the pharmacist at CVS where it was. She handed me a card and said that it was right next door. I finally found it. I had to get buzzed in, and go up to the 8th floor of this really narrow building and wait in the hallway. I felt like I was in a foreign country, no joke, but I guess that's Boston for ya, lol. I filled out my paperwork & waited. The Dr. finally called me in, and I was pretty surprised by everything. It was basically just a room, with a desk, a medical chair, a table, and a closet full of shit, and a Dr. from France. I silently wondered, what have I gotten myself into? He told me to have a seat, and he examined my wound. I asked if I needed stitches, and he gave me a very affirmative YES. Great. I started not to feel so great.
He told me to lay back, and that he was going to inject an anesthetic. Wow! Did that hurt! As far as medical procedures go, I consider myself to be pretty tough, but JESUS did that fucking hurt! I screamed a little and actually started to cry. He said that I sliced a blood vessel (wonderful) but that he thought that he could get away with 2 really deep stitches. Super. He started the stitching process and I said that I felt woozy, and then I was out like a light. I passed out for a few minutes, everything went black, I had a really weird dream, and whenever I came to I didn't know who I was, where I was or what was going on. It took me a few minutes to put it all together & start to feel a little more normal. He finished the job, gave me some water & I lied there until I felt good enough to get up & leave. Whenever I was ready, the good doctor called in 3 prescriptions for me (cha ching $$) gave me a deal by only charging me $180. I have yet to see a hospital give discounts & deals on medical procedures. Ha! He instructed me to have the stitches removed whenever I got home, and also to get a tetanus shot. Great, more money....... The prescriptions actually weren't that pricey, and I got away with spending around $210 for the whole affair. Not too bad considering. I left the office, and went to the pub downstairs to grab some quick dinner before me evening shoot. Stitches or not, the show must go on!
My evening shoot was stuck fetish, which is something that I had never done before. Talk about a day of firsts, lol. There were four scenarios where either myself or my shoes were "stuck" in some sort of sticky substance.
A glue type substance. Perfect for getting your high heels stuck, lol.
We also did a full body marshmallow fluff stick
Here's a pic of me 'after'
The shoot was a lot of fun, but by the time we were finished (11:30 pm) I was beat! Not only from shooting, but from the excitement of my day. I got back to my hotel around 12:30, took a shower & passed out. I had to get up early the next day for a shoot with Gothic City Heroines. Shooting with them is always A LOT of fun, but it's also very physical, and I needed my rest.
