Today's shoot was a dream come true for me!! I shot for http://www.pumpthatpedal.com/, and I got drive a '74 Dodge Coronet super fast along a windy country road, then I got to do burnouts, and pretty much turf his yard, lol. I felt so tough & cool driving that Mopar! It was such a big car! I had a lot of fun shooting for this site, and Alex was nice enough to let me do mine & Eric's laundry while we shot. When you're on the road for such a long time, getting to do your laundry is sometime's a rare treat. I was actually ok, as I packed enough things, but for some reason, Eric only packed a few things for a 4 week trip. He put his laundry in a duffle for me, and whenever I got on the elevator, I noticed that his laundry really freakin' stunk. I mean, I had to open most of the windows in my car because it reeked so bad. I do want to clarify that I didn't notice that Eric was smelly, or unclean. In fact, I know that he showered daily. It was just his laundry that was super duper smelly.
The aftermath of my Mopar driving.
Getting into the old VW bug. I hope it starts!
Getting ready to give the Mopar another go.
Whenever I got back from my shoot, it seemed that I had gotten there just in time. Eric got an answer to his casting after I had left this morning, and ended up shooting in our room. I say that I got there just in time because now he has clean clothes to wear during his shoot, lol,
Tomorrow we head to Dallas, and we have a 10 hour drive ahead of us. We could break it up, but I ended up getting a few bookings there (yay!) and I know that Eric wants to put out another casting call. After that, our next destination in Los Angeles, with just a few stop over points. It looks like we will get to L.A. ahead of schedule, which is pretty cool!
