Texas Is The Reason That The President's Dead....

Before you even ask, no, I did not go and see where Kennedy was shot, haha. After driving for over 9 hours through 4 states (Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana & Texas) all I wanted to do was sleep. Our stay in Dallas ended up being pretty cool, though. It was originally supposed to just be a stop over for us, but I ended up booking a tickle shoot the evening of the 3rd, and then I was lucky & a booking for a glamour shoot came through. Both shoots were a lot of fun, and I'm glad that I booked them! The glamour shoot, with photographer Michael Paul, was really, really cool. We shot in a studio in Ft. Worth, and he pulled some really amazing shots! I can't wait until he emails me some of the edited images! The tickle shoot was for a c4s store that is opening soon, and boy, did that shoot exhaust me, lol. I seemed to be extra ticklish tonight, for some reason, and now I'm just beat.

Today. during my free time, I went over to the Dallas Galleria to pick up some things that I needed. I needed to go to Sephora to pick up some She-Laq from Benefit (need to keep my eyebrows in place, lol) and I stopped by the MAC counter & bought ANOTHER red lipstick. I also bought another pair of Tom's shoes, a grey pair this time. They are soooo comfy & I'm really diggin' the charity aspect. Maybe I'll get a red pair next......

After the mall, I headed downtown to Deep Ellum to do some antique/vintage shopping. I stopped in two stores &, as I saw many, many things that I liked, nothing really jumped out at me. I did find a piece of Redwing pottery that I liked, and was at a good price, so I picked it up. Tomorrow, before we leave, I'm going to stop at a few vintage clothing stores. I'm really on the lookout for more vintage lingerie & some new earrings.

Tomorrow we head to Amarillo, for the night, and then Albuqureque, Flagstaff & finally Los Angeles. I'm getting tired just thinking about it.

Here is a picture of Eric Cain's suitcase:

This is what I have to endure on the road, lol. He's such a Messy Marvin! And now he's subjecting me to some TV show called Swamp People.....what a weirdo..... ;-)

I saw this sign on the elevator...Whoop! Whoop!
