Accidental Adventure In North End

On Sunday, I had a shoot with Pete & Phil from Gothic City Heroines. Due to some studio snafus & circumstance beyond their control, I really only ended up doing 2 scenes for them. In the first scene, I reprised my role as Razor Girl, which was cool, because I rarely get to play a heroine, and in the second scene, I did get to play a villain, Cleopatra, which was a new character for me. That was pretty much all we had time for, unfortunately, so we wrapped it up, and I was on my way.

I was headed back to Ludella's place for the night, but her & Evan went home to Maine, for the weekend, so I needed to wait for them to get back. I went over to Cambridge, to walk around, and found a burrito place to eat lunch at. After that, I decided to just drive around, and I somehow ended up in Boston's North End, which apparently, is a Little Italy. It was SO COOL! I absolutely LOVED this part of town! There were so many yummy bakeries & Italian restaurants. The entire place was just incredible. I walked around for a bit, and it was neat to see older people sitting on their stoops & speaking Italian. I even passed a place called the Gemini Club that had older Italian men hanging around both outside & inside. It looked like something straight out of Goodfellas or a Bronx Tale. I got some gelato, then I found a coffee house to hang out in while I waited. I finally got a text from Ludella, so I left. Of course, I had to get a 2nd gelato for the road ;)
