Sunday was once again, a slow moving day, but we had to shake a leg because there's was still a lot to do. Dave & I had to go back to where the show was so that he could take more pics of some of the bikes. He was doing features on four of the bikes, in the show, for Street Chopper magazine, and he was putting me with one of the bikes. Yay! Once the issue comes out, it will be my first actual publication, which is very exciting! Thanks Dave!
Once we were finished there, we headed over to his friend's apartment building. She had an awesome roof space that was covered in cool graffiti, and we wanted to take advantage of it & shoot there. We walked up all of the steps, and when we opened the door to step out on the roof, Dave found an amazing plastic sword. He handed it to me and said, "This is your prop for the day". It was then and there that I became Lord of the Roof, and Dave became my loyal Rooftard. I'll post some pics as soon as I get them back. I'm sure that they are priceless ;)
We finished up our shoot, gathered our things, and then went back down to the street. Then came the unexpected sad part. I put my things in my car, and Dave gave a hug, or two, goodbye, and then I drove off into the sunset & headed towards Boston. I don't think either one of us expected teh weekend to go the way that it did, and it definitely caught us off guard. No worries, though, we've been texting/talking all day, everyday, since I left NYC. You never know where your life will take you, and I am very fortunate that I am able to follow where my life leads me. Sometimes, you gotta take a chance. It may change your life in the best way possible.
