Friday On My Mind

My stay in Friday Harbor was pretty cool, and pretty interesting. I was basically on a mountain, in the woods, on an island. A little unexpected from a girl who doesn't camp, lol. The property was huge, and the main house was large, and pretty nice. It was in the middle of being renovated, but amidst all of the debris, I could tell that it was a pretty sweet house. I, however, stayed in the guesthouse, out back.

 There was all kinds of wildlife there, including this rather gigantic slug.

 Over the course of the day, we shot 2 movies, and also some art nudes in nature. The nudes in nature were pretty cool to shoot, but may have been a lot more fun if I hadn't gotten bit up by mosquitoes, er excuse me, blood sucking beasts, in the process. Oh well, the welts eventually stopped itching & healed, so it's all good.

The first movie we shot was a strangulation movie where I succumbed to the Tattoo Killer. The second movie, was a little more interesting to shoot. I was in the shower, and I got shot in the chest by a jilted lover. This one was a lot of fun to shoot, because there were special effects, and we did a lot of different takes. There was so much fake blood all over the shower, lol.

After the long day, a beautiful sunset awaited us.

The next day, I went back to the ferry dock & boarded my ferry back to Anacortes. Since I was traveling during the day, I was able to get some much better pics.

Skateboarding is not a crime.....dammit.

After I arrived in Anacortes, I got in my car & made the lengthy drive back down to Portland. My plane was leaving early tomorrow & I was heading back to the east coast.
