The Best Weekend Ever, pt1

This weekend was totally unexpected, and a nice surprise, and high light to my trip, for sure. I woke up on Friday, got ready, gathered my things, and waited for Kimmy to come home from work. We were going to go out to lunch, and then I was going to say goodbye & meet up with Chopper Dave. Kimmy & I decided on the Schnitzel Haus, in Brooklyn, and it was dee-licious! Afterwards, I stopped at the bank, and then went back to Kimmy's. We said our goodbyes, and then I drove off into the sunset......er......mass of rainclouds ;) I was shooting with Chopper Dave that evening, but first I had to meet him at a bbq. Dave is from L.A. but him, and a bunch of other folks, were in town for the Brooklyn Invitational Bike Show, that weekend.

We met up at the bbq, and then drove to our shoot location. Dave had secured a pretty sweet spot for our shoot. His friend, artist Wes Lang, allowed us to use his studio to shoot in. His studio was fun, random & quirky, which is just how I like it! Here's a few pics of the space.
We got some really cool shots & one set featured me wearing a large pig mask. Keep an eye out on the internets, for that one ;)

We got all of the shots that we needed to get, and then headed over to Gutter Bowl, in Brooklyn for the Dice magazine party. The party was cool, there were a lot of cool people there, and Dave introduced me to some of his friends. Everyone was very nice, and I had a lot of fun! We called it an early night, though. Dave was tired, and I had a shoot with Bronxties the next day. We went back to Zoe & Wes's & went to sleep. What a long day!
